WCPN Logo

WCPN is a network of licensed and certified psychologists, neuropsychologists, biofeedback technicians and cognitive rehabilitation specialists who have successfully treated a myriad of injured workers throughout New Jersey. Based on their extensive experience within the workers’ compensation arena WCPN believes that the current system of treating injured workers with mental health issues is overly fragmented and does not focus properly enough on a speedy return to work. There is an urgent need for a more systemic and integrated alliance of trained practitioners whose goals are to provide compassionate treatment with a steady return to work trajectory. WCPN was created to meet this need.

Behavioral Medicine Associates (BMA) Logo

NY Psychologist, Howard Rombom, Ph.D. founded Behavioral Medicines Associates (BMA) in 1985 on a mission to treat NYS injured workers. Since then, Psychologists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers at BMA continue to provide specialized psychological services including evaluation (psychological and neuropsychological, if needed), treatment, cognitive rehabilitation and pain psychology to injured workers through the New York State Workers’ Compensation Program. Emotional distress can result from trauma, pain, or disability. Workers injured on-the-job require and deserve comprehensive treatment of their psychological injuries.

BMA works together with the employee, the family, and often with the union or group to assist these workers in returning to their pre-accident level of functioning. With treatment, workers can learn specific skills to cope with pain and to develop the skills necessary to adapt to their injuries. Treatment enables workers to develop the “emotional muscle” necessary to rehabilitate and return to a productive life.

BMA is dedicated to providing the injured worker with the most effective program of care. Helping an injured person return to work, enabling them to maintain their dignity and sense of self-respect is one of our most important missions.

The evaluation and care plan can be accomplished either by telehealth or by meeting with the clinician in any of our offices. Care may be provided in both settings over the course of time with us.

BMA also provides these services to NY residents involved in motor vehicle accidents through No-Fault insurance.
