Learn about therapy for mental wellness.

What it is.

Therapy, also known as counseling or psychotherapy, is a collaborative treatment where you talk openly with a trained professional called a therapist. They're someone objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental. Many types of professionals offer therapy, like psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, and others.

How it works.

In therapy, you and your therapist work together to identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that are affecting your well-being. It helps you understand yourself better, improve relationships, and deal with difficult emotions.

Starting therapy can be a significant step toward becoming the healthiest and happiest version of yourself.
